Weekend Itinerary
A Pocket Guide to London
Your weekend itinerary, sorted.
We're celebrating all that our home has to offer this summer. With the help of this pocket guide, make the most of the sun and explore a new corner of the city or return to a favourite haunt. Read on for a mix of Matilda's old faithfuls and new finds in four different corners of London.

West
Head to Richmond and visit the Marianne North Gallery in Kew Gardens - with over 800 paintings hanging on the walls it's a feast for the eyes; hop on a lime bike over to Petersham Nurseries for lunch and a potter around the shop for garden staples.
South
The Garden Museum is always a favourite, and this exhibition looks like a must-see: curated paintings, costumes and more to celebrate the role of flowers in Cecil Beaton's work. They have a great alfresco café, too - alternatively head over to Italo on Bonnington Square for a bite to eat or one of their supper clubs.
Central
The RA Summer Exhibition is now open, and is always worth visiting for a dose of inspiration. Next, take a walk through Regent's Park, ending at the brilliant Ice Cream Project by Anya Hindmarch - the perfect way to cool off on a sunny day.
East
Our favourite new corner to explore, De Beauvoir is sandwiched between Islington and Dalston and offers a tempting host of spots to eat and drink. Spend a slow evening by the record player at wine bar Goodbye Horses; book Sunday lunch at neighbourhood gem The Baring; Sweet Thursday is perfect for a whistle-stop pizza or aperotivo.
